Memory Box Velvet Blossom

I recently bought this new Velvet Blossom Craft Die from Memory Box and thought it would just cut and emboss the flowers as you see them but in fact they come in little bits that you shape and assemble. More time consuming but the finished flowers are absolutely gorgeous, so worth the effort ;-)

I die cut them from Watercolor Paper  and coloured them to look like poppies using a Sakura Koi Watercolor Set.
Unfortunately I have needed to make a couple of 'Thinking of You/Sympathy' cards in the last few days, it is sad to make them but you just hope the recipient gets some comfort from knowing that you are thinking of them.

Thanks for looking, I hope you all have a fabulous day whatever you are doing :-)

We are going to spend the day with rays family in Malta, his brother is a fabulous cook (as is Ray, it runs in the family :-)) and he, and my SIL have invited everyone for lunch. I am so looking forward to it :-) We went to Vietnam and Cambodia with them and we haven't seen them since we got back so a day of holiday reminiscing I think :-)
