Oh NUTS ! I missed your birthday ! :-)

Hi all :-) I hope all is well and you’re enjoying the lovely weather :-)

Another Tuesday and that can mean only one thing ,,,time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge :-)

I LOVE Dawny’s sketches and this weeks is a cracker :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab $20 spree on offer for one lucky player :-)

SimonSaysStamp_160x240

I used this very cute House Mouse Nutty Juggler stamp.

I stamped the image twice and coloured with copics. I then cut out the bowl and a few of the nuts and popped these up on pop dots. I inked the edges with one of the new Spring Seasonal distress inks, this is called Peacock Feathers ,, lovely :-) The papers are from a First Edition New Leaf paper pad ( a gift from Debby xx thanks xx :-) ) and I used some Hemptique twine and a fab Peanut charm from Blue Moon. The ‘oh NUTS’ sentiment is quite big so I stamped it onto shrink plastic.

I finished the inside too ,, the sentiment was made using my Silhouette Cameo machine.

Thanks for looking :-) Our GD’s and the DT have made some goregous cards for you so hop on over to the PTW to see them :-)

I visited the Maze of Memories store on a recent visit to the UK. The lovely Mandy and her hubby picked me up from the bus stop and took me there , Hubby stayed outside with their lovely dog, Jack, while Mandy and I spend a good couple of hours browsing around and chatting to the owners and fellow shoppers. The staff were lovely and offered as many cups of tea and coffee as you would like !! Very civilised and friendly and definitely worth a visit if you are on the Oxford area :-) We had a lovely time ,,, bought a few bits and bobs,, well ,, it would have been rude not to eh !! :-) Their selection of papers and card !! WOW !! :-)

For my card I used the fab Penny Black Tower Bridge and Love London set. I stamped the bridge, coloured with copics, masked and then I made a cloudy sky using a copic air brush ,, it doesn’t show up very well here ,,,, I used Tim Holtz Kraft Core card for layering and the DP is MME from the Maze of Memories store. I used a Lawn fawn Say Cheese set to make the photo frame and the sentiment is from a Hero arts set. I stamped coloured and cut out the little mouse and hedgie from the set and have them running towards each other ,, the mouse will hand the Olympic torch to hedgie somewhere in the middle ,,, :-) The postcard is from LOTV and I used a real used stamp for the postage. The Union jack ribbon and fab heart button are from Crafty Ribbons from the Best of British Collection.
